SynopsisThis program uses a live, interactive performance (before a studio audience of high school students) to illustrate a five step program that helps teenagers deal with (and prevent) violence. Physical as well as psychological violence has deep and long-term effects which impact how students learn and function now, and as adults. It may be the single most important factor determining the success of their interpersonal relationships, and whether they themselves will be come victimizers. Getting S.M.A.R.T. gives students simple and relevant coping skills to avoid and deal with potential violence. Used extensively in schools throughout the U.S.
