    Good Act 1, mediocre Act 2, redeeming Act 3. A detached manipulator that leads four passionate magicians on a journey to stardom. Unfortunately, there was so much back and forth manipulation that you felt as though the filmmakers were just throwing it together and hoping it cooked adequately. For me, the film could not recover from the second act going into the third act and didn't leave me as satisfied as I was with the first NYSM. Chemistry between the actors was good, I can't see why they didn't have fun making this movie, but they were hampered by the shoddy plot. With that said, this is still a must-see for diehard fans.
