SynopsisAgainst a backdrop of spectacular Arizona desert landscapes, two cowboys engage in a bitter feud over the upbringing of an orphaned baby found in an abandoned emigrant's camp. Cash and Jeff both want to raise the child, but Cash claims it as his own. The animosity continues as the former friends, who own adjacent ranches, clash over cattle, water, and mining rights. Meanwhile, the foundling, named Bill by his "father", has grown into a handsome young man who desperately wants the feud to end. Jeff's own child, Mary Ellen, has also grown into a beautiful young woman. Bill falls in love with Mary Ellen, which fuels his desire to mend the escalating rift between the two men.
