Synopsis Massive earthquakes in the Red Sea open the Arabian tectonic plate, shooting out magma that superheats the sea's saltwater, resulting in an unstable low-pressure system and freezing temperatures that will be unsurvivable by nightfall. A vacationing American family in Egypt learns of a warm zone that is being used as an evac point just several miles away. As they attempt to reach the point by sundown, they must battle rapidly cooling temperatures that usher in a new Ice Age, covering the Sphinx, Pyramids, and Sahara Desert with mountains of snow.
